Restaurant
The ground floor and mezzanine are home to the new fine dining “destination restaurant” estiatorio Milos. Offering a one-of-a-kind dining destination through a unique design narrative where local values of hospitality, authenticity, and precision are celebrated. The space has been designed for the simple yet extraordinary gastronomy to excel. The restaurant features a bespoke ceiling artwork by the Greek sculptor Dimitris Fortsas. Inspired by the timeless minimalism of the Cycladic art and the lightness and rhythm of the harp, a sculptural staircase, designed by Divercity Architects and emblematic to Milos restaurants, link the ground floor to the mezzanine.

Rooms & Suites
With 43 beautiful rooms and suites, guests will experience an Athenian home away from home. Guests can choose from charming, cosy classic rooms to spacious, luxuriously designed one-bedroom suites with large outdoor sunny terraces and a jacuzzi. The interiors have a timelessness quality inspired by Cycladic architecture and art with crisp details oozing simplicity. Embrace neo classical refined living and marvel at the high ceilings, marble bathrooms and the finest beds and linens. Each room has been individually designed with the utmost attention to detail with elegant and unexpected touches along the way creating an authentic personalised experience.

Colours Inspired by the Aegean Sea
Guests may notice a nod to the nautical world throughout xenodocheio Milos where the design has in part been inspired by the Aegean Sea, from the colour palette to the use of natural timber throughout. The gradual shift of light and transition from darkness to light, in spaces such as the corridors, represent the everchanging light reflected in the ocean. The bespoke headboard and bathroom counter emulate the movement of the wind through inflated sails.

Designed by Divercity Architects
The design concept and interiors has been handled by Divercity Architects and Nikolas Travasaros. Each space is individually curated to promote ‘Philoxenia’, the sacred art of making a stranger feel at home and is heightened by the gastronomy experience. The estiatorio Milos dining is offered in the rooms and suites, by beautiful pendant lights over the dining table bringing the culinary experience to front and centre.

Construction
The building was constructed by INTRAKAT, a leading player in Greece’s construction sector. A1 Architects and Dimitris Agiostratitis was responsible for the conversion of the historic building to a hotel.
