Making its debut in Spain, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the opening of Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, bringing the brand’s timeless glamour to the Canary Islands.
Following extensive renovations, Tivoli La Caleta officially opens its doors, welcoming guests with elegantly renovated guest rooms and suites, exciting dining concepts and a world-class spa, all with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the hotel’s beautiful landscaped gardens.
Located on southern Tenerife’s picturesque coast, nestled between the mountains and the Atlantic’s deep blue, Tivoli La Caleta offers an idyllic hideaway, just 15 minutes’ drive from Tenerife South International Airport, with direct access to the 12 km coastline promenade, connecting the village of La Caleta to the town of Los Cristianos.
The five-star property offers 284 rooms including 20 suites, elegantly decorated with woods and natural fibres, unveiling a colour pallet that goes from beige and brown to dark orange, featuring design furniture, local art and high-tech comforts, creating a chic and calming place to relax and unwind, overlooking the sea, the tropical gardens and the swimming pools.
With 1,200 square metres of outdoor and indoor facilities, the wellness area offers ten treatment rooms, plus a vitality indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and an ice igloo to refresh and rejuvenate. Further reinvigoration awaits at both indoor and outdoor areas of the Tivoli Shape, fully fitted with top-of-the-range Technogym equipment for efficient workouts, at the professional World Padel Tour courts and at each of the three newly refurbished swimming pools, all heated, the largest with salt water and one adults-only.
Dining at Tivoli La Caleta is a celebration of worldwide gastronomy with offerings carefully curated by Olivier da Costa, the well-known Portuguese chefpreneur currently with 27 restaurants open around the world in destinations from São Paulo to Lisbon and from Rome to Bangkok. The hotel will feature three distinctive restaurants: Seen Beach Club with its bold flavours, exotic cocktails, and vibrant seafront setting; Yakuza that specialises in sushi ranging from the most traditional to the most inventive and creative combinations, and Guilty presenting an indulgent experience in a dynamic and cosmopolitan space.
With over 890 square metres of flexible meeting spaces with ocean views, Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort offers spectacular settings and venues for all types of events – from VIP dinners and weddings, to product launches and large scale conferences.
We are thrilled to bring our timeless Tivoli brand to Spain, adding its fourth European country after Portugal, The Netherlands and Italy. Tivoli is present not only in Europe, but also in South America, Asia and the Middle East, and we will continue to grow the brand’s footprint further, both within and outside of these regions. We see great opportunity for Tivoli in key European destinations and I am confident that Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort will establish itself as one of the leading resorts in the Canary IslandsDillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of Minor International
With a journey that dates back to 1933 in Lisbon, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts stands out for its cultural heritage and authentic connection to each destination. The brand is opening the first property in Spain in 2023, the year of the celebration of its 90th anniversary with special guest experiences, like the Tivoli Timeless Tour and The Room 90.
