Rosewood Bangkok in Bangkok’s prime central business and retail district, has opened...
An amalgam of contemporary sophistication and Thai heritage, Rosewood Bangkok brings to life the brand’s hallmark A Sense of Place® philosophy through architectural design and carefully curated décor, spa and dining experiences.
The 30-storey standalone property occupies two connecting high-rise structures that create a modern tribute to the Thai spirit. Its contemporary form is inspired by the wai — the graceful Thai gesture of palms pressed together in greeting. The hotel is conveniently connected to the BTS Station amidst a luxury enclave of embassies, new office towers and upscale malls.
“Rosewood Bangkok represents an exciting new expression of ultra-luxury hospitality in Bangkok,” says Thomas Harlander, the hotel’s managing director. “It will be a symbol of the emergence of the country’s capital as a hub of creative style and design for the region. Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy will also be thoughtfully interpreted in modern yet authentically Thai fashion through the entire hotel, from its design to all its experiences – we aim to provide a portal to all the many fascinating sides of this captivating capital and culture.”
The hotel’s 159 rooms, including 23 unique suites and houses with private pools and terraces are elegant, spacious and residential-style urban retreats. From Deluxe Rooms that offer 42 square metres of residential-style living space with décor that embraces both Thai heritage and contemporary culture, accessorised with refined works of art and ornamentation to convey a modern and homelike atmosphere, to the beautifully indulgent Sky Pool Studios that feature a unique sanctuary from the outside world with private terrace and personal outdoor plunge pool, which is just perfect for enjoying the panoramic view of the Bangkok cityscape, guests can expect the usual Rosewood style and sensibilities.
Also on site at the newly opened Rosewood Bangkok are a fantastic selection of F&B offerings from the four separate restaurants, as well as a Sense Spa, pool, fitness centre, and the usual event spaces.
