The sensational new Spa at Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, Mauritius, has reopened following a €1 million refurbishment. The complete overhaul has seen a redesign of all areas, including a striking entrance and relaxation area, the creation of 18 private spa cabins and a new partnership with CODAGE, promising to provide guests with an enhanced experience which meets the high standards of the hotel. Widely considered to be the most prestigious hotel in Mauritius, Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury is delighted to bring the finest spa facilities to its discerning guests while staying true to the DNA of a luxury beachfront hotel.
Created by JFA Architects, the stylish spa is centred around a series of cascading pools and a spacious sun deck, surrounded by tropical foliage. The use of natural materials, such as lava stone, granite, wood and slate, harmoniously blend the interior and exterior environments and create a calming atmosphere which encourages rejuvenation and relaxation.
Set amidst lush vegetation, the 18 private spa cabins are individually decorated, each with its own unique charm and character. The cabins are fitted with understated, chic furniture, as well as large windows and openings to take full advantage of the natural light and surroundings.
The spa’s new partnership with award-winning French cosmetic brand, CODAGE, offers guests an enhanced wellness experience – the effects of which will long outlast the holiday! Using high concentrates of active ingredients to deeply nourish the skin and promote revitalisation, the extensive treatment menu features both ancestral rituals alongside cutting-edge technology. Along with a selection of carefully curated body and face treatments, the menu also includes a series of tailormade programmes, including the opportunity to have a custom-formulated serum created by the apothecary team following an in-depth assessment of your skin. Guests can also enjoy yoga, meditation, Qigong and the Japanese self-healing techniques of Makko Ho in a tranquil thatched pavilion.
