The award follows the announcement that Ikos Resorts is expanding its portfolio with the launch of its first property in Spain and fifth property in the world on 17th May 2021, Ikos Andalusia. The new hotel will reflect Ikos Resorts’ award-winning concept, allowing guests to experience the convenience and affordability of an all-inclusive offering paired with total indulgence. All five properties will open under an all-tested promise, which ran successfully at Ikos Resorts last season, setting the new global standard for covid-safe holidays. As part of Ikos Resorts’ Infinite Care Protocol™, the all-tested promise means that all staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening and will then undergo regular rapid antigen tests. A complimentary rapid antigen test will also be offered to all non-vaccinated domestic and international guests upon arrival, while international guests will be able to book various tests on site in order to meet their required travel specifications before departure.
