Ikos Resorts' new Ikos Andalusia, opening May 2020, has won the award for ‘Top Resort in Development’ at this year’s Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum.
Now in their third consecutive year, the awards aim to recognise the best tourism resorts currently in operation and under development in the Mediterranean. The nominations were determined by a team of tourism industry experts and the MR&H board, while the winners were selected by public vote.
Opening in May 2020, Ikos Andalusia is the fifth addition to the group’s collection of award-winning luxury all-inclusive resorts and the brand’s first property in Spain. Located inbetween Marbella and the historic town of Estepona, the five-star resort will feature 411 elegantly appointed rooms and will bring a new dimension of luxury and Mediterranean hospitality to Spain’s sun-drenched Costa Del Sol.
The hotel will come with Ikos Resorts’ innovative luxury all-inclusive concept including signature à la carte menus curated by Michelin starred chefs, a choice of 300 wine labels and 24-hour room service.
Guests can also enjoy the full benefits of the brand’s Local Discovery offering to explore the surrounding area throughout their stay. This includes the Dine Out experience at local restaurants, the MINI Drive Adventure giving guests use of a MINI car for one full day, complimentary tickets to the best museums in Malaga and complimentary Green Fee passes for golf players to enjoy a day of golf, all included as part of the all-inclusive stay.
As a multi award winning brand, Ikos Resorts has been previously recognised for its unparalleled service and excellence with both Ikos Oceania and Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, voted as the best luxury all-inclusive resorts worldwide and in Europe in the 2019 Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice® awards, for the third consecutive year.
