Atelier 27 has demonstrated its unique and peculiar expertise in Art & Styling curation for Marriott Hotels’ new brand: The Luxury Collection in Limassol, Cyprus. Featuring an ever growing collection of over 54 artists and more than 1300 curated artworks, Atelier 27’s selection expresses a modern vision of the island and invites the visitors to experience a rare journey.

Inspired by the cultural heritage of  Cyprus, the collection of artworks, sculptures, paintings, collages and styling objects leads the visitor through a narrative scenery, a cultural immersion confirming the connection between the myths and the material world.

Artists and local craftsmen were invited to propose a contemporary reinterpretation of Cyprus. Atelier 27 sourced and highlighted the potential of emerging artists alongside  international renown talents such as Sabine Marcelis or Mrzyk & Moriceau.

The creative team seized the rich heritage of Cyprus and its unique potential as a destination, and worked on an authentic experience for guests to discover beautiful local treasures and refined materials.

Through monumental installations, guests are invited to explore contemporary reinterpretations of the legends of Dionysos and Aphrodite, a path through raw materials and intricate know-hows, reminders of archeological remains and theatrical heritage.

The whole Resort & Spa and its 270 rooms went through the comb of Atelier 27 with the aim to offer visitors the best explorative journey.

Between curation, scenography and artistic direction, Atelier 27 composes elegant spaces by channeling the beauty of art and exceptional craftsmanship. Each project illustrates a bespoke range of creation, tailored to its own location and own history. A singular narrative that Atelier 27 collects, nurtures and interprets through voice to artists, designers, craftsmen.
